The Grand Water Trine and Universal Purpose at Play
/Jupiter and Neptune are two planets involved in our grand Water trine, and so questions of loyalty, morality, and the Universal Higher Purpose will come into play here. We are in the second decan of Gemini, and so we will also be forced to get clear on love vs. Love, communication vs. speculation, and so on.
In astrology circles, much has been made about the trine between Jupiter and Neptune, as this is the second trine, and the third will occur this coming August. Dubbed the "peace on Earth" aspect, Jupiter and Neptune will add another Piscean layer to our day to day lives. The synchronicities, the happiness for no reason, and profound spiritual understandings will come, and as we travel through Gemini, we will have the benefit of having the words to describe our otherwise too-poignant-to-put-into-words experiences.
Additionally, we have Venus in Cancer, so we want to be safe and secure at all times. Because Venus in Cancer is part of the active Water trine, we are witnessing energies that lend themselves to do whatever necessary to feel comfortable and safe. It is a pitfall to lull ourselves into thinking, 'Let's keep our activities a secret. It's important to manipulate the situation in our favor.' Neptune wants us to make sure that the standards that we have for our relationships and our creative activities are of the highest. With Jupiter in Scorpio, the expectation is to dig deep and pull the most honest, healing parts of ourselves, sharing it with the world. That is a tall order, so let's look at an archetype to help us.
Jesus Christ is an excellent archetype for this configuration. To activate the Christ consciousness in you, think of all the gifts that the Universe gives to you. It can be the small things: observing honeybees on a plant, listening to your children, talking on the phone with your best friend. Think about the happiness you get when in these circumstances and think about all the ways that you can impart the same kind of joy to someone else in a small way. Healing is not just about lying on an operating table: it can take the form of cooking someone a meal, offering a massage, or lending an empathic ear.
This behavior will develop a practice of giving, which in turn can foster a healthy sense of detachment. When we can experience these activities in the here and now, we can then take them and incorporate our impressions of them into our personal worldview, activating both sides of the Gemini-Sagittarius axis and inviting wholeness into our practice. With cultivated balance, the impatience and restlessness of an undeveloped Gemini will begin to fall away, allowing the Second Rays of Love and Wisdom to shine through the prism and start the Rainbow Bridge of healing.
