Heat Up and Shine in the Season of Gemini

It is time to bask in the warmth of the energetic sine wave and the cosine wave that covers both levels of existence, where the spirit can manifest from both the visible, gross, form-oriented portions of the Universe’s manifestation and the invisible, subtle, magnetic aspects. The meeting of these energies will be responsible for the pull of that which you were hoping for in life, those seeds that we planted in the Capricorn season. This theme catches up with us once again with the Earth grand trine we are presently experiencing. Over the next couple of months, place increasing importance on grounding the high energy that characterizes not only the portal the Solstice represents, but the whole summer season. Now is the time to let your projects “heat up,” and shine so that others can see what you have done.
With Mercury at the forefront of this Gemini season, things will not be what they seem. "Up" will look like "down," "in" may resemble "out." Do not be alarmed if the events of your life begin to feel like a scene out of the movie Inception. It may be just that similar. You are being called to understand -- in spiritual texts the wheel (the Solstice celebrates the turning of said wheel) represents understanding, and in this case, this understanding comes from using your head to get to the what of a circumstance (Mercury, Air element). Being kept on our toes keeps us from being complacent, which helps us with our dharma and pushing the wheel along.
It is essential to keep these tidbits in mind, as Moon opposes Neptune. Although this is a magical, beautiful time, do not fall asleep at the wheel and depend on others to intuit what you think they should know about your thoughts and feelings. This behavior can inadvertently cause silly squabbles. Try to keep your eye on the big picture as the Moon waxes toward Sagittarius. Another pitfall is being afraid to let your inner Self shine through. Just remember that working in the spirit of Love and kindness will make this time more comfortable.
Venus works as Mercury's esoteric "twin," using her planetary heat to purify the granular facts and feelings of an event and turn them into nuggets of wisdom. The things that were heavier earlier in the year will now take on a light-hearted tone and allow one to work on his or her relationships, as well as his or her money. Five represents Venus and her orbit; use your fifth chakra to harmonize both Venus and Mercury as you communicate to someone how much you love them. Remember to keep this activity light-hearted. This gesture does not have to be romantic.
