Winter Solstice Magnetizing a New Experience

With Saturn's movement eclipsing the Sun, this is a time to withdraw during our winter solstice and figure out the boundaries of our identities, where we stand in the world. For those of us who have a lot of Uranian, Mars, or Neptune energy, it may be sobering to have to follow so many "rules". However, all is for our benefit. It is now we have the opportunity to start the beginning of rebirthing ourselves. We are planting new seeds and ideas and acknowledge The Possibility. Although the trees may be sparse in this hemisphere, the fullness is still there. What results do we want to see six months from now? It is a good time if you have not started to leave a legacy, to decide if you would like to enact one, and if so, what kind you want to implement. It's a perfect time to talk about Capricornian energy and the Sun meeting Saturn.

Capricorn and Saturnian energy leave individuals with a wisened energy, one that most often characterizes those with "old souls." These are the "aged wine/fine perfume" contacts that may not seem like much in the beginning, but bloom into something beautiful with patience. Although this may prove burdensome for younger people, this inner knowing proves beneficial as one matures in life. Although time may pass, Lightness will begin to inhabit the aura and the worldview of those with Saturn/Chronos contacts. While our society associates age with work, harshness, slowing down, this will be the opportunity to manage your Soul's unfolding, over and over again. If one does not practice discipline, it can be harsh and painstaking.

The archetype of the Seagoat characterizes an individual or energy that can swim through the Flow of the Universe and then climb over the obstacles that our 3-D world presents before us. When we choose to embrace the Flow and not think about the process once we have devised one, the unfolding will occur on its own. We can't be afraid of heights, cry or whine. Saturn is known for rapping knuckles with its ruler for such behavior. However, Saturn is also known for sweeping the energetic toxins that we like, love, attract and are addicted to out of our lives. Saturn works with the number 8 (the number of creation and destruction)  and right in line with its numerological nature, has 62 moons. Our solstice is an excellent opportunity to look at this as a time to magnetize a new experience that is within our orbit.

Because the Jupiterian energy of Sagittarius is lingering, Capricorns born of this decan are stable in emotion and philosophical. The gifts of the Flow are probably most prominent in this decan, as this individual will find him or herself finding joy within the Soji -- the daily meditation of action for action's sake. Jupiter will then bestow gifts for good measure as the Universe communicates its pleasure. Those who have Moon - Saturn contacts will experience an increase feeling "loved" when there is an acknowledgment of how well one handles responsibility and practicality. Next, we will talk about maturely managing all our watery emotions with this month's full Moon in Cancer.

During her exploration, she found Astrology as a little girl and would peruse the astrology section of the newspaper from time to time for entertainment.
